    Just before Christmas my sister needed an operation and when we asked the Franchisee (Not the Manager - The owner) if we could defer our Personal Training, her response was I'm sorry thats not possible even for medical reasons.

    So we kept paying for our memberships that we never used. Our understanding and upon speaking to the Franchisee our contract would end in September and that would be it. No!

    We lost heart after this, then the PT was let go who was extremely good with my sister's injury and the class we most enjoyed was cancelled. Nothing was put in its place for the timeframes we could attend.

    I love Fernwood Morayfield. It's a home away from home for me as busy mum trying to fit exercise into my routine. Being 24/7 and the introduction of virtual classes has ment if I miss my favourite classes I can always make them up later on in the day. Thanks for such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

    All I can say is beware. After cancelling my membership money still continued to come out of my account, I thought this was rectified until I got a call from a debt collection agency saying I owed over $400. They actually owe me money, won't return my calls. Couldn't phone me enough when they wanted me to join and now nothing but stress. Save yourself the heartache and find another gym

    After sending an email asking for our membership to be cancelled we had a call from the Franchisee saying that she was sorry she couldn't do anything and we were better of waiting till the membership runs out as we would incur a $200 fee.

    The customer service level you provided is appalling, especially to a woman with a disability and after saying we could not continue our membership.

    We joined as my sister and I both have medicals issues and wanted to become stronger and thought lets try the Morayfield Fernwood Gym.

    We kept paying our membership and did try and go again the following year. However my sister needed another operation, I sent an email asking if we could review our memberships as we were no longer using them. The Franchisee offered us $1.50 off a $24.00 a week cost as we have never used the 24 access (but it came with our package).

    I can not describe how unhappy we are that we even joined a Fernwood Gym, Its sad to think that the other Franchisee's will look bad because of your bad service.

    We then have another payment taken from our bank account after the membership direct debits had ended. I then sent another email asking why we were being charged and they said "you didn't come and give us the cards back." So my sister took the cards back and they said that they would be taking a further payment because they needed 30 days notice. When asking if we could have this wavered, the Franchisee said that would be up to the accountant.
